The web site I manage www.hayhouseradio.com has undergone a dramatic facelift. After 8 years the new site has awesome new features, better social media and a lot more. The whole thing just looks better! I thought people would be thrilled with the new site but I am surprised how many people just don’t like change. It’s so easy to get stuck in our ruts and dig our heels in like a stubborn mule when confronted by any kind of change. This is something I have been trying to work on for awhile and I think it’s so interesting to watch. I can think of many times when I have been confronted by change and the more I tried to work with it and go with the flow the easier things get. When you resist and try to keep things the same you run in to problems. I remember taking a job that required a move from my home state of Florida to California. I knew if I pushed through the fear I wouldn’t regret the move. Not to say it wasn’t hard it was but I think the fear of regret that if I didn’t do it I would always wonder was stronger than then fear of staying in Florida. Now I try to embrace change and move forward as fearlessly as possible. I don’t always succeed but I think it makes life more interesting.
